Skateboarding Culture in the North East - My Idea

 My Idea -  My idea is to do a short documentary about skateboarding culture in the north east and the community over the years. For the documentary, I want it to be a mix of interviews, voiceover and clips from skate parts that have been release over the years that were filmed around the North East. All of the videos that I want to use are roughly from the past 10+ years.  Some of the videos I know which I may use that were filmed in the North East: Gasoline Crusties Thrust Northern Souls  Pigs in Wigs Bishcam Way Up North Coast to Coast These are just a handful of skate videos filmed in the North East that I could use.    For the interviews in my documentary, I know a few people that have been involved in the skateboarding community and culture over past years that I could speak with to learn more about how it was. Sunderland Culture   is a new organization created to bring together Sunderland’s most important cultural assets and activities and realize the ambition of a city brimming with creative potential.  They  operate National Glass Centre and Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, Sunderland Stages, Sunderland Cultural Partnership, Arts Centre Washington and The Fire Station, with a combined audience of over 700,000.
